A man had to be cut from the tyre truck he had been driving when it rolled over at Adelong on Thursday, in the same spot as another truck rolled last month.
The accident occurred on the Snowy Mountains Highway just outside the township of Adelong just before 1.45pm on Thursday. The truck left the road and rolled over on its side, going through a fence and ending up in a paddock. The road was slightly wet at the time.
Ambulance from Tumut and Gundagai, police, SES and fire units from Tumut and Adelong responded, and police directed traffic around the scene of the accident, initially stopping drivers on the town limits.
SES volunteers and firefighters cut the roof off the truck, and got the driver, a 20-year-old man, out of it. He was taken to Wagga Base Hospital by road ambulance with minor head injuries.
