THE 2025 Southern Inland Rugby Union season is shaping as a good one for the Tumut Bulls, following the success enjoyed by the club in 2024.
“Corey Wilson, who played for us in 2023 has returned after going back to rugby league for Gundagai last year,” Bulls’ 2025 president Kurt Greenhalgh said.
“He will be a great asset for the Bulls and great utility back that can play all positions at a high-quality level, and will add quality to our kicking game.
“Dylan Piper-Bye has also returned from university and is ready to play some country rugby.
“He will be playing on the edges of our forward pack and has a high work-load rate with great ball skills. Both of these have been great local gains for the club and great clubmen.”
These signings will help offset the loss of Mitch Ivill, who will play rugby league with the Tumut Blues in 2025.
The Bulls will have a partially new-look coaching line-up this season.
Stephen Gill will take the reins of the first-grade team, replacing Jon Carmody, who took the side to within a game of the grand final in 2024.
Perhaps not surprisingly, Kylie Jensen will coach the Bullettes, after taking them to a stunning premiership victory in 2024.
Last year’s second grade coach Aidan Thomas will be joined by Chris Pianelli.
