Bulls sitting pretty at No 4 spot after Leeton win

PLAY continues at Tumut Bowls Club with members now going off and joining in other competitions over the winter months.

Super Sunday bowls will continue, providing the weather is suitable. Names in by 9.30am and play starts around 10am.

Super Sunday Bowls: 

Saturday, May  26, 25 bowlers participated. 

Winners were: Les Abric, Mary Wrenford and Robert Halpin. 

Runners up Don Dwyer, Michael Olditch and Kath Vicary. 

Last Sunday, 2nd June 23 bowlers played. 

Winners were: Don Dwyer, Di Keenan and Peter Fardell. 

Runners up Maureen Dowling, Kath Vicary and Barry Yan.  

Two bonus draws this week went to Judy Rankin and Ray Blanchard.

Congratulations to Will Crampton who competed in the Zone Junior Championships last week. 

Will reached the Quarter Finals in the Singles, Semi-final in the Pairs and Runners up in the Fours. 

These results have led to Will being selected in the Junior Inter-Zone side which will be held in Dubbo in July. 

Congratulations also goes to Tim Crampton who competed in the Zone 8 Inter-Zone side last weekend. 

Tim’s team were defeated in round 1 62-67. 

Round 2 won 49-47 and round 3 won 66-62. 

The team finished 2nd in their section.
