The Business Connect Bus visited Adelong last Friday, ready to help small and medium business owners in the area who have had a tough start to 2020.
Business Connect is a NSW Government-funded service that provides business advice. In the Snowy Valleys and surrounding areas, this advice is administered by BEC Business Advice.
Kevin Bascomb from BEC was at the Bus on Friday, and outlined the various services that they can assist business owners with as part of the bushfire recovery process.
They offer comprehensive advice and assistance with business strategies in order to affirm or further develop business plans. This could involve making changes to goals and objectives, distribution strategies, pricing and costing, customer targeting, marketing activities or financial planning.
They also offer advice on the availability of grants, completing grant and loan applications, information about investing in new technology or equipment, mentoring through the recovery process and group training programs.
Mr Bascomb says that overall, they can provide a “review, renew and relaunch” of your business, or aspects of your business.
The Business Bus is one of two busses that travel throughout the state providing advice. Although the busses move around quite a bit, the Business Connect service is always available in Adelong and surrounds through BEC Business Advice. Appointments can be made by phoning 02 6024 0400.
