Cracking five rounds of netball

Zoey Dean of Goodes Coaches 14s prepares to pass the ball against Fergies Construction Purple Thunder on Saturday.

WHAT a great five rounds of netball we’ve had so far.

As we head into the June long weekend, a general bye will be in place across all Tumut Netball Association divisions.

While local games take a short break, we’ll be cheering on our Under 15 and Under 17 representative teams as they travel to compete at the Senior State Titles – best of luck to all involved!

Here’s how Round 5 played out across the divisions:

Division 1

In a thriller, DME 17s clinched a 36-35 win over the Woolpack, with Cybella Roddy and Brhiannon Perrin named MVPs for their composure and game-changing efforts.

Division 2

The Amateurs pulled off a 17-13 win over Court Chaos, with Jess Larter and Rachelle Salmon recognised as MVPs for their strong performances across the match.

Division 3

Sparkles shone brightly in their 34-16 win over Tiger Magic. Emma Brasen and Brooklyn Foster were standout contributors, earning well-deserved MVP honours.

Division 4

It was a close contest in Division 4, with Murray’s Plumbing 12s edging past Court Queens 22-19. Amelia Smart and Bianca Anderson earned MVP nods for their key roles in the win.

Division 5

Tiger Pride came out on top in a convincing 24-12 victory over Elliott’s Landscaping 11s. Amelia Kerr and Arabella Bellette impressed with their consistent and determined play.

Division 6

The Feisty Fillies galloped to a 20-2 win over Tiger Roar, with Tigerlilly Hanson and Summer Clout awarded MVPs for their all-round efforts and team spirit.
