A 74-year-old female patient who had acquired Covid-19 overseas has died in Albury overnight, marking the first Covid-19 related death within the Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD).
One further case of Covid-19 has been identified in the MLHD in Wagga Wagga, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 41.
There have been no further cases identified in the Snowy Valleys Council Area.
Of the 41 confirmed cases six are in Albury City, three in Berrigan Shire, one in Cootamundra-Gundagai, seven in Federation, two in the Greater Hume, three in Griffith City, one in Hay Shire, two in Hilltops Council, three in Murrumbidgee Council, one in Narrandera Shire, two in the Snowy Valleys Council Area and ten in Wagga Wagga City.
38 of the cases were acquired overseas, one acquired interstate and one acquired locally.
