
FIVE people were injured in a two-car collision in Tumut on Saturday afternoon.
At about 4:15pm on Saturday 5 April police believe that a Honda CRV has turned out of Booral Avenue in an attempt to turn onto the East bound lane of Clarke Street in Tumut.
At the same time, a Volkswagen Tiguan was also already travelling west along Clarke Street, Tumut.
A collision occurred between the Honda CRV and the Tiguan at the Booral Avenue and Clarke Street intersection which resulted in the Honda flipping onto its roof, sustaining significant damage.
The Tiguan also sustained damage in the collision.
Police and other emergency services attended.
Three occupants from the Honda were assessed on scene by paramedics and conveyed to Tumut Hospital for assessment.
Two occupants from the Tiguan were assessed on scene by paramedics and conveyed to Wagga Wagga Base Hospital for assessment.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
