Five-year first for Selwyn

Good snowfall across the mountains has been widely welcomed, particularly at Selwyn Snow Resort.

Good recent snowfall has allowed Selwyn Snow Resort to open its advanced terrain for the first time in five years.

This is good news for ski lovers and the resort which is coming off a busy winter school holiday period.

Advanced skiers will be happy to hear that Selwyn has finally had enough snow to open the advanced terrain.

“We are very excited at Selwyn to finally have our advanced terrain open after a five-year hiatus due to the bushfire rebuild and the poor 2023 snow season,” said Selwyn Snow Resort general manager Lucy Blyton-Gray.

With more snow falling over last weekend, the resort opened all lifts for the first time since 2019.

“Selwyn is finally back, and we are thrilled to see guests enjoying all areas of the resort again,” Ms Blyton-Gray said.

“With two more months left in the winter 2024 season, we look forward to welcoming existing and new guests to Selwyn Snow Resort.”
