LAST Sunday all three Pennant grades played at home up against strong teams from Gundagai, Young and Tumbarumba.
For the Grade 4s this was the first time that they have had a win over the very strong Young team – well done everyone.
It was a do-or-die situation for the Grade 4s as they had to win this game to make it into top position.
And that they did – Tumut Grade 4s finished the season in first position on the ladder and are in the finals to be played in Wagga in May.
The results of these games are:
Tumut Grade 4 65 (9pts) defeated Young 2s 51 (1pt).
Tumut Grade 6 90 (9pts) defeated Tumbarumba 6s 45 (1pt).
Tumut 6s are on top of the ladder with one round to go.
Tumut Grade 7 66 (9pts) defeated Gundagai Grade 7 41 (1pt).
Tumut Grade 7 are also on top of the ladder with one round to go.
This Sunday 23 March is the final round for both Grade 6 and 7.
Grade 6 are at home to Gundagai 7s. Game starts at 11am.
Grade 7 travels to Tumbarumba to play Tumbarumba 6s. Players are to meet at Club Tumut at 9.45 to catch the bus. Games start at 11am.
