LAST weekend’s Round 13 of the Tumut Netball competition brought plenty of excitement, with each division showcasing strong performances.

In Division 1/2, the Hot Chips secured a solid victory over Batlow RSL Club, finishing with a score of 41-30.

Both teams displayed impressive skill, but Sophie Webb from Hot Chips and Hannah Collins from Batlow RSL Club stood out, earning MVP honours for their efforts.

In Division 3, the younger team put up a valiant fight, though the Sparkles ultimately claimed a decisive 41-10 win over DME 13s. Elle Wedding-Lazarus and Tessa Crowe were recognized as MVPs for their outstanding contributions on the court.

The Division 4/5 game was a hard-fought contest where the final score didn’t quite capture the intensity of the match. Shooting Stars came out on top against Live Wires with a 31-5 victory, and McKenna Blewitt and Halle Withers were named MVPs for their consistent performance throughout the game.

Division 6 saw the Tiger Lillies dominate their match against The Superboltz, closing with a 19-4 win. Alice MacDougall and Amelia Smart earned MVP honours for their exceptional play.

A reminder to all umpires: please check the roster for next week, and if you’re unavailable, it’s your responsibility to find a suitable replacement.

Finally, as we approach the final round of the regular competition, don’t forget that next week also marks the last round of Net Set Go It’s time for our annual Crazy Hair and Silly Sock Day, with all donations going to CanAssist.

Let’s finish the season with some fun while supporting a great cause!
