Jordan Maki-Richards is the new chair of the Falling Leaf Festival, having been elected at the Festival AGM at Tumut River on Monday night.
Michael Cichocki, who was previous Co-Chair with Jordan, has stood down.
The Co-Secretaries are Hilary Wilde and Matt Duncan, who are continuing in these roles,
Treasurer is Angela Mason, who is also continuing and Publicity and Marketing responsibilities are with Kate Howarth, who is continuing in this role, with assistance from Jeff Hanson.
Other positions will be finalised at the next Festival meeting on September 2.
The committee is keen for more people to attend the first meeting of the year on 2 September to help in various roles such as logistics, stage and artist management, markets management and more.
Some new faces attended the Annual General Meeting, including Snowy Valleys Council hopeful Grant Hardwick, and Jeff Hanson from Dusty Hooves Media & NSW Country and Picnic Racing, both offering their media and video and photography experience to the next Falling Leaf Festival.
The committee will soon be seeking the involvement of community groups and individuals who are interested in staging events on and around the weekend of Falling Leaf Festival, with the main festival taking place on Saturday April 26 2024.
