A man has died after a motorcycle crash near Blowering Dam this morning.
About 11.45am Sunday police and emergency services responded to reports of a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on the Snowy Mountains Highway, south of Tumut.
Officers attached to Riverina Highway Patrol and NSW Ambulance paramedics attended.
Despite efforts to revive the rider, the 69-year-old man was pronounced dead a short time later. The Times understands the man was not from the Tumut region.
A crime scene has been established and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash continue.
A report is being prepared for the coroner.
