More popular local musicians have joined the line-up for Blues, Brews & BBQs, which is happening on Saturday, March 16 of at Riverglade Caravan Park.
F-Truck are a four-piece band, featuring former members of Rockit, Hardkor, Captain Jack, Slim Pickins and The Wobbly Boot who have been performing live music throughout the Riverina and beyond for many years.
F-Truck have kept crowds on the dance floor with their classic songs from the late 70s, 80s, 90s through to some of the current music today.
Led by well-known front man Scott Platt who has been rocking the Riverina music scene for 30 years plus, Scott’s band comprises of Steve Wakeling (drums) Phil Lawson (guitar) and Brett Day (bass guitar), they are all experienced musicians that have also been on the Riverina music scene and more for many years.
Replacing Phil Lawson on guitar for Blues, Brews & BBQs 2024 will be special guest Darren Jaynoy.
Darren is a well-known original solo artist throughout the Riverina and has recently released his first album “Kaminari”.
Brett Day said the F-Truck boys were looking forward to the day.
“This will be our third time here, as well played in 2019 and 2022,” he said.
“It was good fun and all of us enjoyed ourselves.
‘We’re looking forward to it because it’s not not everyday you get to play on a big stage.”
F-Truck and Darren Jaynoy have been travelling to Wagga and putting in hours of rehearsal at Slammin’ Drams Studio.
F-Truck and Darren join a stellar line including Diesel Music, Lachy Doley, Claude Hay, WILSN, 19-Twenty, Sunday Lemonade, The Bules Factory and Wild Tracks.
