No new cases in Tumut

Covid-19 testing clinics in Tumut and Brungle on Tuesday recorded no positive results.

Murrumbidgee Local Health District said that 14 people were tested at Tumut, at the Tumut Citizens Boys Club, and five tested at the Health Post at Brungle, and no positive results were returned.

The Tumut clinic was open for three hours and the Brungle clinic for an hour.

The number of those tested was much lower than that for who received Pfizer Covid-19 vaccinations at the Tumut Citizens Boys Club the previous week.

Police reported that at 3pm on Saturday a 37-year-old woman from Holt in the ACT was arrested in Tumut on outstanding warrants and tested positive for Covid 19. 

Contact tracers are working to identify anyone the person may have come in contact with.
