Spot the Greater Glider in Batlow

Ever wanted to see Australia’s incredible night-time wildlife up close? Well, here’s your chance. 

Join Riverina Local Land Services for an exciting spotlighting adventure in Batlow on November 15 from 8pm – 9.30pm where you’ll have the opportunity to spot Australia’s unique possum and glider species, including the endangered Greater Glider, learn about the Greater Glider’s habitat and the work being done to protect it, hear from expert ecologist Clare Crane from the Australian National University about the fascinating glider surveys recently conducted in our local area, discover what efforts are being made to conserve Greater Gliders in the Riverina region, and find out how you can get involved in helping these precious species recover.

Bring your sense of adventure, binoculars, and a torch or headlamp (some will be available to borrow). Be sure to wear sturdy shoes and warm clothes as you will be out in the wild.
