Super 16s into grand final

Tumut’s under 16 representative cricket team play Temora in Saturday’s grand final at Cootamundra.

The Tumut under 16s representative team play in the Southwest Cricket League grand final this Saturday in Cootamundra.

Tumut will take on Temora in the title-decider.

The Tumut boys have had a great season, going into the grand final unbeaten. They had a close game in the semi-final last week against Young, probably having their worst performance this season.

The team has come together well, with all of the team giving valuable contributions.

Some of the notable individual performances include Cooper Smith 282 runs, Aidan Turnbull 214 runs and 11 wickets, Billy Cribb-Kelly 152 runs, Joe Pearce 143 runs, Harvey Graham  nine wickets, Ryley Bartlett eight wickets and Josh Swan eight wickets.

The team would like to thank the ground staff from Gundagai who have prepared the turf pitch at Stan Crowe Oval for them to play on each home game.
