The disabled toilet at Miles Franklin Park in Talbingo was severely damaged last weekend. The toilet bowl was smashed to pieces and the toilet roll holder was damaged.

The facility is currently closed for repairs.

“Once again, we are disappointed to see this senseless vandalism in our public facilities,” a Snowy Valleys Council staff member said.

“Council staff have spent many hours repairing the damage incurring non-budgeted repair bills. The police have been contacted and members of the public are encouraged to report any information they have to the police.”
