Thrilling matches and stellar performances

ROUND 9 of the Tumut Netball Winter competition saw plenty of excitement, with action-packed games and outstanding efforts from all teams.

Spectators were treated to some intense matchups and impressive performances.

In Division 6, the Superboltz dominated their game against the AKD Star Power, securing a 15-6 victory. MVPs Josie Evans and Imogen Watkins were pivotal in their teams’ performances, showing determination and skill throughout the match.

In Division 4/5, Fergie’s Purple Thunder edged out the Cool Rainbows with a 19-16 win. Zahli Scobie and Amara Hockey were recognized as MVPs for their standout contributions in a game that kept spectators on the edge of their seats.

In Division 3, the Sparkles showcased their offensive prowess with a commanding 52-18 triumph over Kiss My Pass. Hannah Hood and Marli McDonnell’s performances earned them MVP honours. 

In Division 1/2, Goode’s 14 pulled off an incredible comeback against Batlow, outscoring them 8-4 in the last quarter to secure a thrilling 34-30 victory. 

Lacey Thomas and Hannah Collins were named MVPs for their relentless efforts, ensuring a thrilling and balanced contest that left spectators eagerly watching every play.
