Tumut, Adelong and Batlow got solid rain but thankfully did not suffer any flooding over the weekend.
Graham Garnett measured 6.2mm in Tumut on Thursday, 16.4mm on Friday, 25mm on Saturday and 13.4mm on Sunday.
In Adelong, 61mm fell starting on Thursday until mid-morning yesterday, and in in Batlow, as well as about 6cm of snow, 83mm fell over the weekend.
Bureau of Meteorology meteorologist Melody Sturm said multiple troughs followed by a cold front moving over the area brought the weather.
She said Tumut would have a ‘mixed bag’ weather-wise in the upcoming week.
“Today there is a chance of a thunderstorm and potential for small hail,” she said.
“There is likely to be between 15 and 25mm of rain, and snowfall above 900m. Showers are likely on Wednesday, and Thursday should be mostly dry before another frontal system moves through, bringing more rain.”
