Tumut to host F100 Club

Ford F100 Club of Australia president Stefan Boczan and treasurer Bert Eerden in Tumut on Wednesday.

TUMUT will be the Ford F100 capital of Australia next April when the Ford F100 Club of Australia holds its national rally at Riverglade Caravan Park.

The Club, formed in 1998 and based in Adelaide, holds its national gathering every two years, and are happy to have picked Tumut for 2018.

President Stefan Boczan and treasurer Bert Eerden were in the town on Wednesday to have a look around.

“We heard a lot of good feedback about the area and its people, and it is a beautiful spot,” Mr Boczan said.

“Coming to such a nice place is what the club is all about.”

Tumut is well known for it’s abundance of remarkable cars, and the Riverglade Caravan Park was the venue for the recent successful Tumut Rod and Custom Aces and Eights Show and Shine.

The F100 meeting will be on between April 11 and April 18, and a special show and shine will be held on Sunday April 15.

“Anybody is welcome,” Mr Boczan said.

The club features F100s, and other vehicles from this family, including F250s, F350s and Broncos.
