Twilight soccer swelters

On a very hot, humid and stormy Friday early evening, local soccer die-hards gathered at the Bull Paddock for their weekly matches.

While the turnout was lower than usual, no doubt due to the threatening and sweltering weather conditions, those who did get along to the pitches shrugged off the weather and set about some great games of soccer as rain began to threaten and then to sweep in after around 45 minutes of play.

Well done to everyone who took part –  they certainly wasn’t the best playing conditions, but everyone gave it their all.
